About the event

Celebrity challah braider Idan Chabasov — AKA “The Challah Prince” — is coming to Stephen Wise Free Synagogue to celebrate Israel’s Independence Day. His royal highness will tell his story — from Israel to Berlin to Instagram fame — while we create high-carb Star-of-David challot together! All ingredients will be provided to create a challah that you’ll be able to take home and finish in your oven.

Tickets are available exclusively for SWFS members until April 30. All of The Challah Prince’s appearances sell out — so get your tickets now!

This event is for adults and children over the age of 13. Religious School students in grades 3–5 will have their own exclusive session with the prince during school hours.

Sponsored by Stephen Wise Free Synagogue’s Amplify Israel initiative and the Israel Committee, with support from UJA-Federation of New York and the Jewish Agency for Israel. Special thanks to Jonathan Hengel for providing the desserts.
